About NotaDevBlog

Practical tools for developers, creators & everyday users

My Mission

Hi, I'm Daniel – a software developer with over a decade of experience, builder of tiny digital helpers, and hobby photographer who takes far more pictures than I have time to edit.

NotaDevBlog began after I used one too many online tools that were slow, bloated or filled with ads. So I started building the tools I wished existed: fast, clean, practical and most importantly all in one place.

Today NotaDevBlog is a growing toolbox for developers, creators, and everyday users. No sign-up, no login, no paywall — just tools that solve real problems without forcing you to create an account or blocking you with upsells.

Core Values

Privacy-Conscious

Most tools run fully in your browser. Only essential technical cookies and Local Storage are used to maintain your session or preferences. **We use zero external tracking or analytics scripts.**

Ultra-Fast Performance

Minimal JavaScript, modern tech, and no unnecessary dependencies. Tools load instantly so you can get things done quickly.

Mostly Offline

The majority of tools work completely offline. A few features - like syncing with an atomic clock or sending a contact message — require a tiny backend.

No Login Required

Access every tool instantly without registration or barriers.

Open & Honest

Clear communication and transparency about how tools work, what they do, and how to use them.

What Makes NotaDevBlog Different

Privacy by Design

Data processing happens client-side whenever possible. Your inputs stay in your browser unless a tool explicitly requires a backend.

Mobile-First Design

Every tool is designed to work smoothly on phones, tablets, and desktops. Performance comes first, no matter the device.

Multilingual Support

English is the primary language, with German as a secondary one. More languages are planned for the future.

Community-Driven Quality

Since we use zero tracking, we cannot proactively detect bugs or performance issues. We rely on honest user feedback to keep the platform fast and error-free.

Technology Stack

NotaDevBlog is built with modern, efficient technologies chosen for performance, reliability, and developer experience — from coding in VS Code, designing interface ideas in Figma, to versioning everything with Git (of course - lol).

About the Creator

I'm Daniel — a software developer with over a decade of professional experience, a builder at heart, and a hobby photographer who enjoys capturing moments. I began my career as a backend engineer, spent years in hands-on technical leadership, and now work as a senior engineering manager focused on enabling teams to deliver reliable, scalable tools.

NotaDevBlog is my personal response to a simple frustration: too many tools online are slow, overloaded, or suspiciously enthusiastic about collecting your data. I wanted tools that are honest, fast, and genuinely helpful.

When I'm not coding, you'll usually find me outside with a camera trying to catch good light — which tends to disappear exactly when I press the shutter. Curious?

Expanded Language Support

More languages beyond English and German are planned for the future

PWA Enhancements

Better offline support and a smoother installable app experience
